Party In The USA! 4th of July Wedding Inspiration

Thinking of having a wedding in July? Then there's one date that is already a celebration and is perfect for a wedding theme. Independence Day is full of fun, color and fireworks – all perfect elements for a wedding day.

Whether you're an American bride or just a fan of red, white and blue there are lots of ideas out there to use in your day. How about a 4th of July inspired cake, wedding invitations or wedding favors? You could draw inspiration from just one of the colors and wear some fierce red shoes or a blue sash with stars, or even stripes.

You could dress your bridesmaids in blue and have them carry red bouquets, or red with blue bouquets. Your flower girl and ring bearer can go all patriotic in their dress, so they match your color scheme. This American holiday is also full of décor ideas, from bunting and paper decorations to flags and flowers. You can really incorporate this theme in every part of your day.

A wedding wouldn't be complete without some food, and there are so many ways to add some USA to your menu. You could take inspiration from one part of the country or just have some general treats like hot dogs and burgers. There are plenty of treats that will reflect your theme and thankfully they're all easy to get your hands on.

USA themed cocktails are another great way to add a bit of 4th of July to your day. If you're having a summer wedding then a Mint Julep is the perfect refreshing treat, or for winter weddings bourbon or whiskey will warm the hearts of all your guests.

Check out these 4th of July inspired ideas for your big day!
