Ideas You Can Steal from Celebrity Bridal Showers
Celebrities have wedding budgets most of us can only dream of, but there are lots of ideas you can gather from the celebrations of the most famous brides in the world.
2014 was the year of the celebrity wedding, and with a wedding comes a bridal shower. So we took a look back to see what inspiration we could find. From Kim Kardashian to Ashlee Simpson, check out these bridal shower ideas.
In August, one of reality TV’s style icons celebrated her upcoming wedding to William Tell with a party at home. One of our favorite ideas is low budget and totally adorable - each guest was asked to bring a personal recipe on a card! There were also lots of flowers, including fresh bouquets and rose-printed china as well as paper blooms decorating the walls. Lauren's shower was super adorable and totally budget friendly!
May was the month when Kim celebrated her upcoming nuptials with close friends and family at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. There was a hint at the location of the wedding in her bridal shower, as the day had a Parisian theme where guests feasted on bagels and brioche French toast. Champagne was served and a chocolate and white cake satisfied everyone's sweet tooth. The bride-to-be wore a white dress and as a favor each guest was served a small white chocolate Eiffel Tower statue. We loved the fun photo booth, but, while not every shower has the budget for a photo booth you can think of some fun photo opportunities that will bring everyone together.
August was also the month when 20 guests gathered at Jessica Simpson's L.A. home to celebrate the younger Simpson sister’s upcoming wedding. The theme for Ashlee's celebrations was bohemian pool party, and we think there are lots of gorgeous details that can be incorporated into any bridal shower. We adore the floral crowns each guest got to make. Adding some arts and crafts to your shower is a great way to bring people together!
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi
In July, a pregnant Snooki had a Great Gatsby-themed bridal shower with 100 family and friends. We love 20s themed celebrations, and it’s a theme that can be incorporated into a shower even if you have a limited budget. Even better, it gives guests the chance to dress up in vintage outfits! Check out her delicious brunch menu and adorable place card – perfect for a pregnant bride-to-be!
