Real Wedding - Tracy and Justin in Roswell, Georgia

JGirard5 and Flippr220, also known as Justin and Tracy, met in 2012 on the dating website match.com. After a flurry of emails, the couple met and had what they describe as the best first date they have ever had.  That chance meting online led to this beautiful vintage-inspired wedding in Georgia surrounded by loved ones.

The couple got engaged in April 2014 when, after seeking her parent’s permission, Justin arranged a romantic surprise in front of her family. After a romantic dinner, Tracy and Justin went to meet Tracy’s sister and while the girls were opening a bottle of wine, Justin prepared his surprise! “, Justin excused himself and surprised me a few minutes later dressed up in a beautiful suit. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was so surprised and confused by what was happening that I hardly believed it until he pulled out the ring box”

The couple decided to keep their wedding local and chose Primrose Cottage in Roswell as their venue. They fell in love with the vintage feel of the place that totally reflected their day.

“The entire wedding was inspired by the venue,” Tracy says. “I went for a vintage look - the earrings were my something borrowed from a work friend and the two blue leaves in my hair were the clip on earrings my grandma wore on her wedding day back in 1943. My wedding ring set is my grandmother's wedding ring set from 1952. We had such a strong bond that I didn't want anything new or modern.”

After the ceremony everyone got to enjoy cocktail hour, then the bride and groom enjoyed a private dinner and a moment alone as newlyweds. Guests enjoyed a buffet including penne noodles with asparagus, pork tenderloin, garlic broiled potatoes and couscous.

The couple and their guests danced the night away, and the evening lasted well into the early hours: “Once the party ended at the venue, it continued at the hotel until about 2am. It was a night of spending time with friends and family and one of the best days of my life. The next morning we woke up and shared breakfast with 100 of our dearest friends and family..”
