Winter Warmers - Perfect Winter Wedding Cocktails

Cocktails are the perfect wedding drink. Who doesn't love sipping on a delicious cocktail and catching up with old friends and making new ones. If you have organized a cocktail hour at your wedding then you have lots of options for what you will serve. You can be totally creative with your ingredients and create drinks that reflect your wedding theme.

With winter ceremonies becoming more popular with couples across the world, we have zoned in on some delicious drinks perfect for a winter inspired wedding!

Raspberry and Chocolate Espresso Martini

Do you love chocolate and coffee? Why not combine your favorite treats in one delicious cocktail! This raspberry and chocolate espresso martini (above) has a blend of real coffee beans and vodka in the form of Smirnoff Espresso, which is combined with indulgent chocolate and raspberries. It is finished off with a light dusting of chocolate powder for a cappuccino-style twist.

This cocktail will wow your guests and add a luxurious touch to your day.

You will need

Smirnoff Espresso Vodka 50ml

Chocolate syrup 25ml

6 raspberries

Cocoa powder

How to make

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  • Add Smirnoff Espresso Vodka, chocolate syrup and raspberries to the shaker.
  • Using a jigger, measure of 50ml Smirnoff Espresso Vodka, 25ml chocolate syrup and 6 raspberries into the shaker.
  • Shake the mixture vigorously until the surface of the cocktail shaker feels chilled.
  • Strain into a martini glass.
  • With a cocktail strainer, strain the mixture into a martini glass.
  • Sprinkle cocoa powder over the top of the drink to garnish.

Hot Apple Bite

When it comes to winter wedding drinks, you might prefer to serve something warming to your guests. We love this hot apple bite that combines vodka with delicious apple juice and brown sugar!

You will need

Smirnoff Vodka 50ml

Apple Juice 100ml

Brown sugar 2tbsp

Apple puree 1tbsp

How to make

  • Add all the ingredients to a saucepan.
  • Warm on a low heat until the sugar has completely dissolved and the liquid is simmering.
  • Pour into a glass mug.
  • Garnish with a wedge of apple and top with crushed biscuit
