A floral garland dupe

Floral garlands are a wedding hair trend that don’t seem in a hurry to go anywhere soon – a fresh floral garland can give a fairytale feel to a wedding, and can look great as an alternative to a bouquet for a bride who wants to keep her hands free.

In terms of blooms, anything solid works really well – think roses, begonias, camellias or, for something a little more delicate, fillipendulas (dogwort), gardenias or Jacob’s ladder. Think about balance, too; the more greenery, the more ethereal your garland, while full, coloured blooms are more romantic.

And for something you’ll have forever? Try this garland by Johnny Loves Rosie ($65.87 at Asos.com).
