Midas Touch - Golden Wedding Inspiration

There are so many color schemes to choose from that it can sometimes feel overwhelming - so we find the best way to start is by picking out a feeling for your ceremony. Do you want to go for relaxed, laidback fun? Do you want your guests to get a slightly vintage vibe? Or are you looking for a high-end, luxury wedding? If the latter is your poison, adding some gilt-edged glamour is a surefire way to get the mood that you want!

You can start off small; think about gold accents rather than full-on metallics. A pair of gold shoes can be a jazzy addition to your wedding gown; gold jewelry can lend a grown-up, glamorous vibe; sequined tablecloths can look incredible in a pared-back venue (especially with a monochrome color palette).

If you want the luxurious feel but your budget is a little more on the modest side, think of DIY compromises: gold mason jars are super-cute and you can always spray paint your own - which can be a fun project for you and your 'maids coming up to the big day. Or how about spray-painted animal figurines or succulents as escort cards? (Gold spray paint is super economical, but be warned - it's tough to get the hang of! Practise makes perfect!)
