Spotlight On: Jane Yeh

Here at Dreamwedding we spend a lot of time searching for bridal gowns from around the world. From the USA to Australia, there are amazing dresses that we can't help lusting after. Choosing ones to feature ain't as easy as you might think (poor us!)

It was during one of these searches that Jane Yeh’s couture gowns caught our eye.

The designer, who is based in Auckland in New Zealand, has been in the business for over 20 years. What sets Jane's gowns apart is their high quality and the unique fabrics and innovative styles she uses. Then there's the high standards of workmanship you'll see on every dress.

Designs are stylish, romantic, elegant as well as feminine. Jane says a dress should be an expression of a bride's personality, and that wearing the dream dress will give a bride the utmost confidence on her special day.

We love the delicate beading and hand embroidery that make these gowns lust after items. We love the low backs and exquisite lace detailing that is featured on many of the dresses. For brides who want a bit of sleeve, the Kate and Jessica (below) are beautiful options, while the Florence allows a bride to reveal a bit of skin while still staying classy.

Dresses start from $2,000 NZD (US $1,700) but her couture gowns come with a higher price tag.  Loved by celebrities and brides the world over, Jane’s dresses have also featured in New Zealand’s Unveiled Bridal Exhibition and on the catwalks of New Zealand Fashion Week.

Take a look at some of our favorite gowns from her Le Jardin Vert collection which is inspired by the feeling of a spring garden.
