Spotlight on: Jenny Packham

One of the hottest names in bridal wear, Jenny Packham, is a designer you’ve probably seen in bridal magazines.  Stylish brides the world over love her distinctive signature wedding gowns and her latest collection is magnificent!

As well as being stocked in exclusive stores like Harrods, Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, the British designer’s dresses can also be found in stores across the globe, from the States to South Korea.

We couldn’t wait to see her 2015 collection! These gowns have been inspired by a collection of photographs known as The Goddesses that were taken by 1930's British society photographer, Madame Yevonde.

Yevonde‘s pictures featured stylized images of mythological heroines like Helen of Troy, Persephone, and Venus with a modern touch. Packham’s 2015 collection's color pallet was also inspired by the photographs, which are soft, tonal and romantic shades.

Buttermilks, champagnes and warm blush caramel tones in silk chiffon and tulle compliment traditional ivory gowns in the collection. Tiered hemlines and exquisite veils add romantic and mythical warmth to the dresses, while delicate French lace is adorned with signature beading and crystals in an array of molten golds, antique metallic silvers and rich alabasters.

The 2015 collection was unveiled in an industrial venue against a backdrop of a blue summery sky - perfect for this dreamy collection.
