Real Wedding - Ellen and Ron in Central Park, New York City

Central Park has been the venue where thousands of couples have said, “I do!” It’s at the top of the dream venue list for many couples and every day you can find a wedding taking place somewhere in the park. 

Ellen and Ron live in New York City and love Central Park so it was the perfect venue for their wedding and were able to pull it off with a little help from A Central Park Wedding. Take a look at the beautiful photographs taken by Jessica Schmitt Photography from their special day.

Preparation for the day began at the new NYLO hotel on the Upper West Side. Ron waited anxiously for Ellen to share their first look on the terrace of the hotel.

Ellen and Ron were engaged in a charming bed and breakfast on a farm. Ellen explains, “Ron and I went to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, last year for my birthday weekend and he proposed exactly at 12am on my birthday.” 

 

Ellen and Ron live in New York City and love Central Park. “The day of our wedding was amazing, Ellen says. “The whole day was filled with being around awesome people that we love and have fun with who we knew would genuinely care and enjoy being a part of our special day.  It was just a perfect day that left us with great memories.”

 

The couple decided to have an intimate ceremony in front of family and friends. “We always knew we wanted a small intimate wedding with our immediate families and closest friends,” Ellen says. 

 

The ceremony took place at Belvedere Castle when the cherry blossoms and dogwood were in full bloom.The plaza has panoramic views that include some of Central Park's most beautiful and famous landmarks.

Ellen and Ron chose a beautiful spring day for their Central Park wedding. “I love the springtime and gardens full of colorful flowers, so we figured a Central Park wedding in Shakespeare Garden in the spring would be perfect.”

The couple certainly had a day they won’t forget: “The whole day was filled with being around awesome people that we love and have fun with who we knew would genuinely care and enjoy being a part of our special day.  It was just a perfect day that left us with great memories.”
