Real Wedding - Jessica and Luke in New South Wales, Australia

Former army medic Luke first met Jess through an online dating service. He had been injured on an overseas deployment and returned to Australia to start a painful recovery.  After just a few dates it was clear that Jess had reignited his soul.  Three years later the couple married in the beautiful surroundings of the rainforest at Mount Keira. Jessica arrived with her mother in a 1940's dark silver Buick and they walked her down the aisle to a string quartet. The service especially poignant as a military chaplain gave a very personal sermon that articulated the challenges they had faced.

A wedding is never complete without a little drama. For the bride it was discovering a leech on her after exiting the rainforest, while the groom managed to split his pants - it was lucky that one of his groomsmen had some sewing skills and managed to patch the hole up before they entered the beautiful reception venue. After plenty of time on the dance floor it was time to say goodbye, and the couple left the reception venue with a sparkler exit to embark on their honeymoon in Hawaii. Check out their special day that was photographed by Samantha Ohlsen Photography.
