Real Wedding - Morven and Steve in Yorkshire, England

Morven and Steve's English wedding was a lesson in sophistication, elegance and fun. The couple chose so many beautiful details, but they were made even more special by the unique wedding and reception venues.

The day began at Morven's family's home in a small village called Hessay, about five miles west of the city of York. The bride looked breathtaking in her Justin Alexander gown, that was perfectly complimented by her hair and flawless make-up. Her wedding dress was complimented by the teal gowns worn by her bridesmaids.

The wedding was a grand event, and the venue, York Minster, was as special as the couple. Morven and Steve had to apply a special license from the Archbishop of Canterbury to marry there. The cathedral in the centre of York is a popular attraction, and when the newlyweds made their way outside they were greeted by hundreds of tourists and onlookers!

Then it was off to Allerton Castle for the reception, guests made their way there in vintage 1959 double-decker black and ivory buses. After a wonderful day with loved ones, it was on to dancing to songs from the live band. Guests dressed up in silly hats, wigs and outfits, and danced throughout the evening.
