Real Wedding - Adriana and John in Puerto Aventuras, Mexico

Adriana and John decided to exchange vows by the sea in Mexico  - and when we saw these photos we weren't jealous in the slightest (well maybe just a little).

It was at Newport, Rhode Island where John decided to pop the question to the woman of his dreams. “I set up everything to propose but Adriana grabbed the camera and set off to the private beach to capture the sunset. She was oblivious to the bottle of champagne and two glasses on the table,” he explained.

“I grabbed our daughter Harper and the bottle and followed her down to the beach. Adriana was snapping away at an outcropping, so I pulled out the little black box from my pocket and handed it to Harper and said ‘Go give this to Mommy.’ As Adriana turned she took a photo of me and Harper in the sunset, and she noticed a strange little something in Harper's hand. Harper handed the box to her Mommy and I dropped onto one knee and asked ‘Will you marry me?’ She said ‘Yes!’”

The couple originally planned to get married in Texas but decided to head to Riviera Maya where they found the Hacienda del Mar - a private Villa right at the beach in Puerto Aventuras. 65 friends and family came to see the couple become husband and wife and one of their close friends was available to officiate.

We love their coral and green tones that they chose for the wedding, while Adriana had bouquet made of succulents and the veil that her mother had worn at her wedding. After the ceremony cocktails were drunk around the pool and then everyone headed to the inner patio where dinner was served.

While the couple planned a quiet celebration, some of the guests had different ideas and even before midnight John ended up being thrown into the pool! The couple say they had a great time celebrating with their guests before they had a relaxing few days in Tulum.
