Real Wedding - Sarah and Brendan In Key West, Florida

Sometimes what can seem like a mundane day can change your life, that’s what Sarah and Brendan discovered one evening in Chicago.

Brendan originally from Middletown, New Jersey, had just moved to the Windy City, and his sister suggested that he reach out to one of her friends who lived in the city. Sarah who grew up in Houston, Texas, agreed to meet and so it was during a happy hour in a bar in the River North that the couple met and had such a great night they spent the rest of the summer enjoying fun activities around the city! Through concerts, dinners, festivals, boating and kayaking the couple formed a bond that is stronger than ever.

Two years later, on Good Friday, Brendan proposed to Sarah at the American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin, where they traveled to for a relaxing long weekend. The couple love Key West so decided it would be the perfect setting for their wedding. “There aren’t many places where you can ride your bicycle and wear flip-flops to the nicest restaurants in town,” Sarah says. “The island really captured the classy casual vibe we wanted for our wedding celebration. We wanted our entire wedding experience to feel easy-breezy, yet elegant. It was important to us that our family and friends enjoyed a mini vacation in Key West, as well as to celebrate our nuptials with us.”
