Real Wedding - Staci & Tim in Toledo, Ohio
Flowers, football and rock & roll – three of the things Ohio is most famous for. Ohio, also known as the Buckeye State, is right smack bang in the middle of the United States and so makes a perfect wedding location. Whether someone’s coming from the East or West coast ty have to travel the same amount (in theory!)
Staci and Tim decided on a seaside themed wedding with a touch of chevron for their Ohio wedding. “I chose chevron because I think it is a really chic and modern print. I thought it made the table pop and it was also reminiscent of ocean waves which matched my seaside theme.”
There were chevron table runners, which were made by Staci, her mom and mother-in-law. Guests got to enjoy delicious salt water taffy favors too – who doesn’t love a favor you can eat?
This beautiful wedding was full of fun from the beginning when their ring bearer and flower girl actually ran down the aisle! Tim said seeing his bride walk down the aisle was one of the most special parts of the day, while walking down the aisle with her dad was very emotional.
Staci’s highlight was her first dance as their friend Sam sang Mirrors by Justin Timberlake. “ It was the perfect moment getting to dance with Tim and have a few minutes where it was just us. It felt like nobody else was there. I can’t explain how happy I was getting to dance with my new husband. Sam is our very good friend so it made the moment even more special that he did that for us.”
Check out the photos by Gage Blake Photography of the wedding before the couple headed off to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic where they say the ocean was so blue with pink sand and the weather was perfect all week. We’re very jealous!
